I was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. I attended the Lowndes County Schools where I graduated from Lowndes High in 1988. Following graduation, I attended Valdosta State University where I graduated in 1995 with a B.S in Health and Physical Education. I began working as a PE teacher at Hahira Middle School. I later received my M.Ed and Ed.S in Educational Leadership. During my 27 years in education, I have worked in the Lowndes County School System and Echols County Schools as a teacher, coach and administrator. I am married to Laine Craven and we have three daughters.
The 2022-23 school year will be my fourth year as Principal of Echols County High School. I am looking forward to serving the students, teachers and parents of Echols County. Stop by and allow me to introduce myself and show you the exciting things that our students are doing.
