Echols County Wildcats |
I was born and raised in Valdosta, Georgia. I attended the Lowndes County School System where I graduated from Lowndes High in 1988. Following graduation, I attended Valdosta State University where I received my B.S in Health and Physical Education. I began working at Hahira Middle School as a PE teacher and coach. Soon after that, I earned my M.Ed and Ed.S in Educational Leadership. While working in education for 27 years, I have worked as a teacher, coach and administrator. I am married to Laine Craven and we have three daughters.
The 2022-23 school year is my fourth year as the Principal of Echols County High School. I am looking forward to serving the students, teachers and parents of Echols County. Pay us a visit and allow me to introduce myself to you and show you some of the exciting things that our students are doing. Go Cats!
Parent Involvement
I would love to help any parent that is interested in becoming more involved and informed about the school. E.C.P.C. (Echols County Parent Connect) is a great way to keep you informed, and give you an opportunity to help guide the direction we take as a school. ECPC meets 3-4 times a year. I hope to see you there!
